SONG OF THE DAY Suburban Birds – Beta

Straight out of Utah’s Salt Lake City comes a brand new four-piece who specialty lies in the dreamy realms of experimental, shoegaze-influenced, indie-rock.  Drawing their influences from 60’s pop, Radiohead and Tame Impala, the Suburban Birds deliver a fresh new sound, one that connects the old with the new.

In May year the Suburban Birds released their debut EP and have since had the track ‘Losing Your Senses’ plugged on Fat Cat’s Soundcloud page.  Taken from this self-released EP comes ‘Beta’ which is one of the songs that stood out for me with it’s great steady paced rhythm that builds as the song unfolds; you can detect the Radiohead influence here too…(‘Eat You Alive’is also worth checking out…in fact, just give the whole EP a listen!)

Suburban Birds are currently working on a full length release but their debut EP is available for download/CD right now and this can be purchased from their Bandcamp page here
