SONG OF THE DAY Baston – Maybe I’m Dead

Emerging from France with a jangle-pop spring in their step comes the garage pop trio, Baston.  Already making a name for themselves on their home turf, Baston are one of the most promising acts to come out of the ever-growing garage-pop scene and are due to release a brand new EP in just 3 days time!

Coming out via the Paris DIY psych label Howlin Banana , ‘Gesture’ is a 7-track record full of twangy guitars and classic melodies, containing hints of the flower-pop sounds of The Stone Roses, Deerhunter and Beach Fossils.

First track ‘Maybe I’m Dead’ snatches you up immediately with its weaving intro and psychedelic tunefulness. Listen above.

Available from September 18, ‘Gesture’ can be pre ordered from here
