SONG OF THE DAY Naytronix – Dream

0005898435_10Oakland-based Nate Brenner, aka Naytronix, has spent most of the last four years touring the globe playing bass for the tUnE yArDs, an experience which gave him both the insight and inspiration behind his second LP, ‘Mister Divine’.

Reflecting the unpredictable and unsettling nature of constant travel, his music mirrors the disruptive nature of touring by contrasting the steady flow of refined guitars with off-kilter rhythms.  Experimenting with various genres, multi-rhythms and influences, this new release sees the multi-instrumentalist/producer leave the funky dance anthems of his debut ‘Dirty Glow’ behind, swapping the upbeat for a more surreal and relaxed feel.

Taken from this album (and aptly titled) is today’s song ‘Dream’, which highlights perfectly the floaty and alternative feel to ‘Mister Divine’ which is out now via City Slang
