SONG OF THE DAY Alohaha – Welcome To Your New Life

If this isn’t a song deserving of a lazy Sunday play, then I don’t know what is! Alohaha released their debut single just a few days ago and, with its smooth and soothing vibe, is a sure-fire way to help you drift nicely through the day.

Alohaha is the is the breakup album and new project of LA-based producer Jake Sinclair and poet Lyndsay Thronton. Together they create atmospheric soundscapes, incorporating soothing lo-fi tunes with smooth Americana sounds. Using just two Hawaiian lap steel guitars and a heady, hypnotic beat, first single ‘Welcome To Your New Life’ is a heartfelt insight into the trials and tribulations of a lived-in relationship. Recorded live to analog tape and mastered from vinyl, this brand new single is a preview of their forthcoming album which is due for released sometime this December via Black Rainbow Records.
