Oakland, CA based Foxtails Brigade are to release their third self-titled album on April 8th this year via OIM Records in North America and on Rallye in Japan. Prior to this the band have shared a track titled ‘We Are Not Ourselves’ which, wholly individual in sound, contains many a line that has made me grin, angelic in delivery with playful sinister undertones eager to pounce.
There is also something about the way front woman Laura Weinbach squeals as she hurtles out the tail-end of certain lines in this song, sounding menacing, pensive and overly virtuous all at the same time, luring you in with her fanciful tone.
