SONG OF THE DAY Seratones – Kingdom Come

“We, the Seratones, are four musicians highly skilled in the art of rocking your socks off, bringing the house down, and blowing your mind. Our goal is to make your musical experience replenish your faith in the power of Rock & Roll. Cheers to all our fans and friends for believing in the power of music!”

What better way to present the great Seratones than with an introduction written in their own words!  This is no exaggerated statement either, for this four-piece band from Shreveport, Louisiana create music that will rock your world, and do so with a thrilling soul-stirring intensity.  You know you’re onto something good when you hear this sound!

Driven by the all-encompassing, mighty vocals of front woman AJ Haynes (who has been singing since the age of 6), the Seratones have been compared to the likes of Alabama Shakes and Janis Joplin; but comparisons aside, this band stands out and are carving a groove of their very own.

Recently signed to Fat Possum Records, the Seratones released their debut single ‘Necromancer’ last October, with debut album ‘Get Gone’ due on May 6th.

Today’s song is a fantastic live performance of ‘Kingdom Come’ which appears on their forthcoming release. I love it and anticipate that the Seratones are a band we will be hearing and seeing a whole lot more of!  Watch above
