Today’s fantastically colossal sound comes straight out of the mighty Parrots, a three-piece from Madrid!
Recently signed to Heavenly , the band have released a brand new single titled ‘Let’s Do It Again’ which has the scream-factor of Lulu’s ‘Shout’ and a melodic likeness to Little Eva’s ‘Locomotion.’ It’s a thrilling piece of garagy, surf-pop with an authentic old sound that wouldn’t be at all out-of-place in an old 60’s movie soundtrack, I’m loving it!
Due out 29th May, the song was written in southern Spain’s Paco Loco Studios and follows the bands 2015 EP, ‘Weed For The Parrots.’
On their snazzy new deal, the band say: “Signing with Heavenly is very important to us, a big achievement which we will honour with great songs and incendiary shows.”
