SONG OF THE DAY Lessons – Tempest

0007507853_10Dark, hypnotic, alluring and saturated in dreamy, electronic-infused melodies; this is the new single from Finland’s 3-piece, Lessons.

Released ahead of their forthcoming Tempest EP, this 80’s-esque, electro-pop number and its five accompanying tracks are all orientated around subjects such as near death experiences, addiction and oppressive regimes as seen through the eyes of a fictional character.

The EP was recorded one winter in a bleak windowless basement using an array of antiquated instruments including old drum machines and clunky synths; all of which adds atmosphere to what looks set to be an interesting EP.

‘Tempest’ releases on June 17th via Sinnbus Records.  Pre order your copy from here.
