Australian multi-instrumentalist and composer Anna Morley creates music which has been described as, ¨an eclectic fusion of electro-acoustic vibes with ambient overtones, woven together by fresh minimal grooves.¨
Playing live, Anna incorporates a diverse range of instruments into her performances, including the vibraphone, keyboards, electronic beats and samples.
This interesting blend of sounds come together to create smooth, chilled soundscapes where dreamy melodies and hip hop infused beats loosely mingle together in an unhurried, carefree manner; these are drift away sounds.
Later this month Anna is to release her fourth album ‘Treasure Pleasure’ and already available as a sneak preview is today’s track, ‘Dan Organ’s Milk.’ Anchor yourself down for this one, this is just over 3 minutes of floaty, ethereal goodness which also allows you a few moments to ponder this curious title! Available via Cult Classic Records, you can pre-order ‘Treasure Pleasure’ from here
