SONG OF THE DAY Mood Tattooed – Outsider

63d17521bfddfdcb-bst011_mt_x2Less than a minute into this song and my ears were on full alert; what was this wondrous music unfolding before me, I had to know?  Delicate acoustics, wistful vocals and an infectious, soothing melody swirl together to create a weightless, dreamy, dream-song, which goes by the name of ‘Outsider.’

The artist behind this wonderous piece of music is Mood Tattooed, a young singer-songwriter signed to New York’s Blankstairs label.  Taken from his page, read more info on him below:

Mood Tattooed is Hagan Knauth, a singer, composer, producer, and performer hailing from upstate New York. Growing up on acres of farmland, Hagan spent his early years exploring the rural landscape in which he lived, drawing inspiration from all corners of nature. His connection with the outdoors is ever-present in his music, manifesting itself as layers of reverberated guitar, vocals, flute and field recordings. These elements converge to form a cohesive musical journey in which the listener can freely interpret at will.

‘Outsider’ can be found on Mood Tattooed’s new album, ‘Hush Tarantula’ which is due out on October 18th, pre-order your copy from here.
