SONG OF THE DAY Fox and Fowl – Spark

11222155_870678236302835_5383217438139218607_oBrisbane band Fox & Fowl released their single ‘Spark’ in July last year.  Inspired by the controversies that dogged Brazil’s hosting of the World Cup in 2014 the band described how,

“We wanted to highlight the fact that the Brazillian government and Fifa were spending millions of dollars on the cup, while millions of Brazilians were living below the poverty line and struggling with their every day life,” said singer and keyboard player Lachlan Smart. “The country was just a spark away from igniting in uproar and riots.”

The video features the trio playing in a shadowy room, with scenes of social unrest playing across them as they glide the mellow, emotional track.  Watch above.
