Will Marsh, aka Gold Connections, is a Charlottesville-based musician who has recently been signed to Fat Possom Records.
His self-titled EP, due this Spring, was originally created and recorded back in 2014 whilst Marsh was an undergrad at William and Mary college and features the production and musicianship of fellow college mate, William Toledo, aka Car Seat Headrest.
Will Toledo, already a fan of fan of Marsh’s work, has produced, has engineered and mixed the forthcoming EP, as well as playing drums, electric guitar, bass and providing backing vocals!
The EP is made up of Gold Connection’s five best, earliest and original songs written by himself two years ago, one of which is today’s song, New Religion. It’s a fantastically warming track, glowing with radiant guitar riffs and buoyant and organic vocals, soft yet rough round the edges in all the right ways. Check it out above.
