SONG OF THE DAY Rainbrother – Juggler

0008855497_10With his new project in full swing, Bjarke Bendtsen’s (ex-The Migrant) and a group of musicians from Copenhagen will today release their debut album as Rainbrother.

Titled “Tales From the Drought,” this album covers some quirky topics including songs about enduring jugglers, mocking cows and fat eggs, and has been produced by Noah Georgeson who has worked with Devendra Banhart and the Strokes.

Remaining true to his folk roots, Bendtsen’s work now enters more electronic realms, but what does remain the same is the is the magic in his songwriting.  Each song on “Tales From the Drought” shapes a glistening soundscapes, with hints of Radiohead and Fleet Foxes echoing through the rich layering of delicate guitar melodies and steady rhythms.  This sound is delicate, yet the impact is striking and notable with each song worthy of repeated plays; this is an album I highly recommend!

Today’s song is the third single from Rainbrother’s new album and with its gentle pace and mellow vibe, it coats the ears with velvet tones.  Check it out above.

“Tales From the Drought” is out on 3rd February 2017 via General Bird and can be ordered from here.

Rainbrother are on a European tour right now, get the dates here.
