SONG OF THE DAY BADBADBADNOTGOOD – Speaking Gently

BADBADNOTGOOD have featured in many a LP blog post over the last year or so, their experimental sounds providing many a pleasurable listen.  Regretfully I’ve yet to see them live, but did manage to catch the last part of their Glastonbury set last night which was rather good…

The band have become known and respected for their ever-creative and experimental sounds which fuses jazz improvisations, lush ballads, kraut rock, & futuristic hip-hop rhythms all into one big crazy mix! Collaborating with an array of artists, the band has performed with the likes of Ghostface Killah, Mick Jenkins and Sam Herring to name but a few.

Speaking Gently features on last years album IV and is a deeply funky self-produced instrumental track with crisp beats and fresh keys…listen above.

Listen to more and check out the rest of IV on the bands page here.
