King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (or King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard as I mistakenly used to call them) released this gem of a song on their 2015 album, Quarters! Although the album only consists of four songs (I guess that’s why they call it Quarters), each one is just over 10 minutes long, which makes for a really absorbing listen. Each track escorts you through a kaleidoscopic trip of hazy winding guitar lanes, rolling rhythmic paths and dreamy sun-drenched roads, this is one jaunt you won’t mind getting lost on!
The River is my favourite track from this album because I love its flowing sunshiny feel, it swallows me up in a warm bubble of swinging beats, psychedelic guitars and devil-may-care vocals and rocks off on an instrumental tangent about 3 minutes in which is also rather lovely! I’ve found a great live version of this from a 2015 KEXP session, check it out above.
Hey! I was just asking what people’s fave tracks by these guys are just the other day or week on my post here: https://a1000mistakes.wordpress.com/2017/06/09/wicked-songs-garage-liddiard-by-king-gizzard-the-lizard-wizard/ because that one was my fave track by them, that one is a bit more full-on that your one just above but they’re a really great band and can play anything and it would cool!

Hey William! Great minds think alike eh! Yes, I love this band, I love their psychedelic tangents and kaleidoscopic trips, I love the drumming and the creative abundance each band member possesses..and yes, I love The River! This years Glastonbury set was an impressive watch: https://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ec584f/acts/a42wbp
