King Khan is definitely no stranger to the LP Blog and for his latest release The Khan family have got together with the Black Lips to record a 4-track EP entitled, Play Safe.
In late 2017 whilst on tour The Black Lips came through Berlin and joined forces with long time partner in crime King Khan. Along with Khan and his daughter Saba Lou (who opened for the Black Lips while they were in town), the band recorded a session for local station Radio EINS featuring a trio of songs written with and by Khan.
Play Safe features some classic older Khan tracks and is being released in association with Viva Con Agua, a non-profit organisation that has helped over 2,000,000 people get access to clean water in Uganda, Ethiopia and other countries throughout South America and Asia.
