SONG OF THE DAY The Monophonics – Find My Way Back Home

The Monophonics released this little corker on their Sound of Sinning album, which was released on Transistor Sound Records in 2015.

Unlike previous works, this record marked a period of growth and exploration for the band as they started venturing beyond, onto the groups that were inspiring those soul acts to embrace the psychedelic sound of the 60’s and 70’s.  Bands such as The Zombies, The Beatles, Beach Boys and Pink Floyd began to filter into their sounds, whilst Northern soul, doo-wop, rock’n’roll, Psych pop, and cinematic music remained a constant.  Find My Way Back Home has the softest, sweetest vibe, wonderfully contrasted by those powerful vocals! Check it out above and listen to the rest of the album here.
