Hailing from a town not too many miles away from me, Animal Noise are a three-piece alt rock outfit from Colchester consisting of Josh, Birdy and Jack. According to their Facebook page they remain unsigned, but have a new album coming out later this year.
Taken from this forthcoming LP comes today’s track, River, which was released earlier this month on Liquid Records. What instantly struck me about this song was how much elements of it reminded me of Echo and the Bunnymen; the vocals for one are really striking and the beat is tight and punchy. It’s a lively track which I took to immediately..check it out above and listen to more here.
