SONG OF THE DAY The Sha La Das – Open My Eyes

Hailing from Staten Island, the four Sha La Das consist of father Bill and his three sons; all of whom were taught vocal harmonies by their father from a very young age.

As a group they have toured the world playing keyboard for Charles Bradley, Paul of Paul and the Tall Trees, but have now come together to release an album of their own.

Produced by Dunham Records/Daptone’s producer and musician, Thomas Brenneck, Love in the Wind is their debut offering and if first single Open My Eyes is anything to go by, this is going to be an album high on my list of wants!  This glorious union of soulful vocals have adorned many an artist, but now it is time for them to share what they have and this 11-track album, I am sure, will do just that!  Read more about The Sha La Das here and pre-order your copy of the album (due 21/9, with pre-ordering starting on 31/8) from here.
