SONG OF THE DAY Southern Culture on the Skids – Werewolf

I dare say today’s song would have been far more apt last night, what with it being a big fat full moon, but even in its waning glory a day later, this big, bright hunk of glowing beauty still poses as a perfect backdrop for a song about a Werewolf!

Performed by North Carolina band, the Southern Culture on the Skids, Werewolf features on a rather ghoulish compilation called  Halloween Hootenanny which was released in 1998.  The Southern Culture on the Skids formed in 1983 and were known for their surf rock, psychobilly style, not to mention their upbeat songs that were usually about dancing, sex, and fried chicken! Check out the Werewolf above..if you dare!
