Today’s tight little lightning bolt of garage rock goodness was one of only four singles Thee Kavaliers, a.k.a The Cavaliers, ever released on the Texan label, Pharoah Records.
Entitled Congregation For Anti Flirts,Inc., the song was written and performed by the band in 1967 and also happened to be the most of any artist on that label!
Along with Symbols Of Sin (check this glorious little corker out on my page here) the song represents another one of The Cavaliers rare singles and if you are ever lucky enough to stumble upon a copy of this rare gem, you could expect to fetch in the realms of £300!!! It’s fast, furious and fuelled by a relentlessly driving beat and wailing, raw guitars that that slice up the track with their deliciously brutal, sharp and cutting riffs . The perfect remedy to a tired Saturday morning head if ever I heard one! Listen above.
