When this band first started out they were so fiery and raw, it was like their sound was fuelled by a 10000 watts of cosmic electricity as it surged hard into heavy psychedelic realms. Now, it saddens me to say (and I know I’m not alone in this) that their most recent efforts were quite disappointing. I know things can’t stay the same forever, but when you lose that certain something that kept you edgy and exciting, its a crying shame. The Night Beats were charged!!
Today’s song is testament to that, one listen and you can hear the fury and hunger in every beat and melodic hit. I love it! Ain’t A Ghost appears on their self titled debut which was released in 2011 on Trouble in Mind Records. If you’ve not heard it before, enjoy!
