SONG OF THE DAY The Stools – Hedge Witch

May be an image of 1 person and food“This record was recorded by Erik Nervous in Detroit, MI on Oct. 24th, 2020 during a power outage using a Dewalt generator”

The tickle of a sledge hammer on the ears!! Detroit’s punk trio, The Stools have released new EP, Carport, and its a frenzied feast of insane garage punk! Featuring just four songs averaging less than two minutes a piece, this beserk blink of psycho sound may be over in a flash, but the effects are lasting!

The Stools uniquely blend influences ranging from the blues, punk, garage, and astrological anomalies.  They have been kicking (and screaming) about since 2017 from what I can gather and have released on Third Man in the past.  This is good old fashioned blues-fuelled, psych-injected punk at its maddest and I, like the best of us, love a fun bit of insanity from time to time! This is perfect! Check it out above and grab yourself a copy of Carport action here!
