So enchanted was I by this band the other day that I promised I would cover the b-side to the song I featured last Thursday…and here it is!!
Amal Hayati compliments is counterpart perfectly with a psychedelic and hypnotic trip into the instrumental delights of Les Golden Hands. It’s a curious piece of music that edges into mystic realms with detailed layers of percussive punctuation and call and response melodies. The way the music gradually builds creates a path of intrigue and this feel perfectly matches the band itself, for definitive information about this group is hard to come by!
