SONG OF THE DAY Los Petroleros – Tu Cuñado Quiero Ser

R-12395916-1534423823-2344Tu Cuñado Quiero Ser is one of only four tracks ever released by Peruvian band, Los Petroleros. Led led by the Peruvian composer and orchestra leader, José Crovetto, Los Petroleros issued today’s delicious sizzler (their debut single) in 1972 on the Virrey label.

Its flipside is equally as enjoyable and plays a song called Pollo Melao. This 45 was followed a year later by second single, Una Nueva Vida, b/w Que Le Pasa A Shana, Unfortunately, however, I’ve yet to find either of these tracks to listen to online…so if anyone has a copy they fancy uploading?

Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy todays song and if you fancy hearing more from José Crovetto himself, you can investigate the other bands he also played in.
