It didn’t take much persuasion to feature another Brian Jonestown Massacre song as soon as I realised their latest album, Something Else, was available to stream on their Soundcloud page ahead of its June 1st release date.
2018 looks set to be a bumper year for the psychedelic outfit who have announced they are to release not one, but two studio albums, as well embarking on a world tour which kicked off in April (reaching the UK this Autumn).
Something Else is the 17th full-length release from the band and is said to be less experimental than later works, delving into and retracing their more into their traditional sound. The band’s second album of the year is a self titled offering which will be coming out in September. My Poor Heart is taken from Something Else, which really is just that from start to finish!
