Dublin/Kildare’s, Silverbacks attracted my attention earlier this year with their bustling, brash, post-punk gem, Dunkirk. How their next single escaped my attention I do not know, but at the end of last month the art-punk outfit followed up their last single with Just In The Band.
Equally as energised and packed full of more indie , art-punk goodness, their latest instalment is carefully layered with finely pitched guitars, contrasting heavy bass and vocals that position themselves perfectly in the middle, their tone clear and cutting, tearing along to the frenzy of the ferocious melody.. It’s another fine effort to say the least and I can’t wait for the release of their debut album in 2019.
