I dare say it will come as no surprise to discover that today’s song has been sampled a few times, but who could resist those incredible beats? I’d love to be able to play the drums like this!
Featuring in the 1968 (Grand Prix) film, Wild Racers, today’s song is one of ten tracks that makes up the soundtrack – which was written and performed The Sidewalk Sounds (who also went by the alias’, Davie Allan & The Arrows, The Back-Wash Rhythm Band).
Issued on Tower Records, I’m not sure if every tune is as good as this, but I intend to find out. Bedroom Theme may only last a mere 1:35 minutes long, but this sound is definitely all about the quality and its such a slinky delight!
