SONG OF THE DAY The Innsmen – Things Are Different Now

R-3299979-1360239843-4850My post tonight may be short, sweet and fleeting, but this does by no means have a bearing on today’s song choice!

A feisty little garage rock fireball from 1966, Things Are Different Now was issued as the B-side to the (far more tame) delights of I Don’t Know.

This 45 was the only single that The Innsmen ever released and this was issued though a Michigan label called Wheel’s 4 Records. The group were also from Dearborn, Michigan and after this record, I cannot tell you what happened to them, regretfully….but this little bundle of joy has provided some moments of pure garage rock goodness and I love those wild guitars! Enjoy!
