SONG OF THE DAY Mystery Lights – Melt

S

I’ve got to say that I am pee-my-pants excited about seeing this band tonight!!  The Mystery Jets are a New York five-piece who create a furious fusion of garage, blues, soul and psych-rock, delivering it raw and slightly on the wild side!

Signed to Daptone’s new and exciting subsidiary company, Wick Records, The Mystery Lights released their self-titled debut album in June last year, featuring 11 tracks of cracking retro bliss!!  Melt unleashes itself in a haze of frenzied guitar and howling vocals as fast, furious and frantic lyrics bellow out, “how do you hate me now?”

Check it out above and listen/purchase the whole album here.
