Dutch duo Donna Blue is a collaboration between Danique van Kesteren and Bart van Dalen. Tied together by love and music, this creative pair concocts sultry indie pop under the influence of 60’s sixties yé yé, Lynch movies and old Hollywood romance.
Their latest offering came out just a few days ago, released digitally, but also as a limited 7″ 3-track single. Featured track Sunset Blvd enticed me over with its playful, laid-back intro and continued to lure me in with its soft dual vocal backing and the piercing lead of Danique Van Kesteren..it’s a cool as a cucumber!
