SONG OF THE DAY Los Dedos – Olivido

What I really love about Los Dedos is their authenticity! Their music whisks you far away to surf-drenched realms with sunsets galore and dreams ten a penny, whilst in reality their location is far closer to home…for all us UK residents that is! This Bristol-based band have been making their Latin-tinged, reverb-filled surf sounds ever since 2020..though you could easily be fooled into thinking it was more like 1960!!

Inspired by the likes of Dick Dale, Link Wray and The Trashmen, they have so far released a self-titled 5-track EP, issued in 2021, an interesting instrumental take on one of my all-time favourite Elvis tracks (Crawfish) in early 2022, and a brand new EP, March of the Crabs, which came out at the beginning of June 2022!!

Today’s exotic and fantastically rhythmic twanging guitar spectacular is taken from this new EP and it’s surfers dream! Mysterious, engaging, dynamic and exciting!! Olivido is COOL!

Check it out above and if you fancy listening to/purchasing March of the Crabs, you can find it here.
