Producer, DJ and recording artist Freddie Joachim (JO-AH-KIM) started out djing in the mid 90’s and has worked with production ever since.
Producing music for artists such as, Aloe Blacc, Blu, Grap Luva, LMNO, Kev Brown, Joey Bada$$, Carlitta Durand, Freddie’s music has been mentioned by the likes of Erykah Badu,Phonte, Slum Village, and more. His youth was spent collecting and listening to hip hop, jazz and soul which plays a major influence in all of his work, some of which has been featured on major television networks such as MTV and NBC, as well as licensed songs with many popular brands and companies, including DC Shoes, Nike and Adidas.
Releasing via his own label, Mellow Orange, Freddie has just shared a soul-drenched instrumental track titled ‘Good Man’ which samples the 1967 classic, ‘Am I A Good Man’ by Them Two. Get ready for some big, juicy beats! Listen above.
